NANNY CAN’T REMEMBER

We are excited to share “Nanny Can’t Remember” as our first Local Hero Showcase. This charming and beautifully written book is author, Tabatha Throup’s first published book. Tabatha has grown up on Hayling and still resides here with her husband and two children. Nanny Can’t Remember has been described as perfectly pitched to help children understand the complex subject of dementia. A valuable resource for families wishing to explain why a loved one may be affected by the symptoms of dementia. Published this year by Austin Macauley Publishers with lovely illustrations from Sue Martin.

Big congratulations to Tabby for creating this wonderful story. We hope this will be the start of a fantastic journey for Tabatha and we look forward to see her writing career flourish.

Nanny is going through changes and is having trouble remembering things. Her grandchildren are learning to be caring and supportive at this challenging time. This book shows a loving family coming together.
